Now all form six graduates with old birth certificate required to change it to new so as to be eligible to apply for the Higher Education Loans sponsorship. The whole process of changing Old Birth certificates to new certificate are done electronically via E - RITA.
e RITA is an online portal created by Tanzania's Registration Insolvency and Trusteeship Agency. It lets people easily manage important records, such as birth and death certificates, as well as records for marriage, divorce, and trusteeships. By moving these services online, it reduces the need to visit government offices and keeps records accurate and accessible.

1. Applicants may submit his or her request via e RITA official website "www.rita.go.tz"
2. For New user you need to register an account to access service but for e RITA user you have to Login the System by using Username and password provided.
3. Confirm your registration for new user via the link sent to your email used during e RITA account registration.
4. Login E-Rita to access the Dashboard.
5. Select Birth Certificate service and Finally, Select Old Birth Certificate to new birth certificate.
NB: Fill all information required as indicated within the system, Accuracy is more needed to avoid some mistakes which may delay the feedback.
