The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat has officially released a new list of people who have been selected for government jobs today, 28 August 2026.
The announcement includes applicants who attended interviews between 27 September 2025 and 18 August 2026. It also includes some applicants who were already in the government job database and have now been given available positions.
If you attended an interview recently, this is a good time to check your account and see whether you have been selected.
Positions and Institutions Included
The announcement includes successful applicants who have been assigned jobs in different government institutions, including:
- National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA): Information Officer II
- Kariakoo Market Corporation (KMC): Technician II – Electrical Engineering
- Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA): Information Officer II
- Ministry of Health: Assistant Nursing Officer II and Medical Officer II
How to Get Your Appointment Letter
If you have been selected, follow these steps to get your appointment letter:
- Log in to the Ajira Portal using the account you used to apply for the job.
- Go to “My Applications” and check your application.
- Download and print your appointment letter showing the place where you have been assigned to work.
Important Information Required When Reporting
Before going to your new workplace, make sure you have the following:
- Report on time: You must report to your employer within the period stated in your appointment letter.
- Bring your original certificates: Carry your original academic certificates, starting from Form Four and above. Your employer will verify them before giving you your official employment letter.
If Your Name Is Not on the List
If you do not see your name on this list, it means you were not selected or there was no available position for you in this round.
