St John's University of Tanzania (SJUT) is offering a unique opportunity for academic and professional growth through several newly announced vacancies. Academic and Faculty Roles
The university is looking to fill several key positions across various faculties to bolster its teaching and research capabilities:
- Assistant Lecturer (Accounting and Finance): Two posts are available for candidates holding a Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 for their undergraduate degree and 4.0 for their Master's.
- Assistant Lecturer (Health Services Management): Two posts are open for individuals with a Master's in Health Services Management, Public Health, or related fields. The same GPA requirements of 3.5 (Undergraduate) and 4.0 (Master's) apply.
- Lecturer (Human Resource Management): A PhD in HRM is required for this re-advertised post. Ideal candidates will have tertiary education experience and meet the standard GPA benchmarks.
- Assistant Lecturer (Mathematics): This re-advertised role in the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FaNAS) requires a Master of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science with Education.
- Assistant Lecturer (Computer Sciences): Located within the Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT), this post requires an MSc in Computer Sciences.
Professional and Support Staff
In addition to faculty roles, SJUT is recruiting for essential support and medical services:
- Tutorial Assistant (Pharmacy): Two positions are open for Bachelor of Pharmacy holders with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Registration with the Pharmacy Council is a distinct advantage.
- Nurse II: The University Dispensary seeks a registered nurse with an Ordinary Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery or Public Health. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a health center or dispensary.
