Key Responsibilities
The Senior Credit Officer II will:
- Market and promote loan products to potential clients.
- Assess loan applications and conduct credit risk analysis.
- Analyze financial statements and financial ratios.
- Prepare credit appraisal reports for approval.
- Monitor loan portfolios and repayment performance.
- Manage collateral valuation and loan documentation.
- Ensure compliance with credit and financial regulations.
- Support recovery and legal action against loan defaulters.
- Prepare regular credit and portfolio reports.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Banking, Financial Management, Microfinance, Accounting, Economics, Development Finance, Agricultural Economics, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in credit management, microfinance, or commercial banking.
Strong skills in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, risk assessment, collateral management, communication, and client negotiation are required.
