Job Responsibilities
As a Waiter or Waitress, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest receives friendly, professional, and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests warmly, presenting menus, and providing helpful recommendations on food, specialty coffee, and beverage pairings.
- Taking customer orders accurately and entering them promptly into the POS system.
- Serving food and beverages efficiently while following international and fine-dining service standards.
- Keeping dining tables clean, organized, and ready for incoming guests.
- Clearing used plates, glasses, and tableware promptly.
- Responding professionally to customer questions, dietary requirements, and minor service concerns.
- Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service, especially during busy periods.
Requirements and Qualifications
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or Server in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or premium café.
- English: Full fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Skills: Strong multitasking ability, good memory for customer orders, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly under pressure.
- Professional Standards: Excellent personal hygiene, professional grooming, a positive attitude, and a good understanding of international hospitality standards.
