TRA SACCOS LTD has officially announced new job opportunities for qualified professionals seeking full-time, permanent, and pensionable positions in Dar es Salaam. Registered as a Class B licensed microfinance institution operating under the Microfinance Act No. 10 of 2018 and the Co-operative Societies Act, Cap 211, TRA SACCOS LTD specializes in mobilizing savings and providing accessible credit to its members.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill five (5) open positions.

Open Vacancies & Requirements

1. Accountant I (1 Post)

• Reporting To: Head of Finance Department
• Key Role: Support financial operations, maintain internal controls, prepare general ledger reconciliations, handle digital banking operations, and manage payroll and statutory reports.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Finance (Upper Second Class or above) plus a CPA qualification and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.

2. Human Resources & Administration Officer I (1 Post)

• Reporting To: Manager
• Key Role: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, leave administration, and HR compliance with Tanzanian labor laws.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Public Administration, or related field (Upper Second Class) with a minimum of 4 years of HR experience.

3. Member’s Services & Marketing Officer I (1 Post)

• Reporting To: Head of Member Services and Marketing Department
• Key Role: Manage member relations, promote TRA SACCOS products, deliver customer support, and resolve member queries to enhance retention.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (Upper Second Class) with at least 4 years of customer service or marketing experience.

4. Credit Officer II (1 Post)

• Reporting To: Head of Credit

• Key Role: Assess loan applications, monitor loan portfolios, reconcile loan accounts, follow up on overdue amounts, and assist in credit policy implementation.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Banking, or Business Administration (Upper Second Class) with at least 1 year of work experience.

5. System Programming & Database Officer I (1 Post)

• Reporting To: Head of ICT Department
• Key Role: Administer and secure databases, build web/desktop applications, handle system integration, and ensure backup and disaster recovery processes
  .
• Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (Upper Second Class) with 4 years of experience. Relevant certifications (CCNA, CISSP, CEH, CISM, OCA, CISA, or CompTIA Security) and knowledge of C#, Java, Python, or Go are added advantages.
