Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Budgeting

The successful candidate will:

• Analyse financial variances across business functions.

• Support Finance Management Committee activities and audit issue resolution.

Performance Management and Financial Analysis

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement reports.
• Producing monthly management accounts.
• Analysing business financial performance.
• Supporting financial forecasts and business plans.
• Conducting ad hoc financial analysis for senior management.
• Identifying opportunities for improving business value.
• Preparing segmented income, cost, and balance-sheet analysis.
• Providing financial information to ExCo and Group management.
• Challenging financial plans and identifying cost-efficiency opportunities.
• Supporting preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Participating in general ledger reconciliation activities.
• Supporting FTP, cost accounting, cost allocation, and cost apportionment processes.
• Obtaining relevant financial data from banking systems including Flexcube.
• Developing financial models and analytical tools for business decisions.
• Using data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, emerging risks, and business opportunities.
• Supporting automation and continuous improvement of reporting and forecasting processes.
• Maintaining appropriate controls over financial and management information.
• Working with Technology and Data teams to improve financial-data quality and availability.

Business Growth Responsibilities

• Evaluating new products and performance targets from a financial perspective.
• Supporting business cases for new products and expansion.
• Participating in performance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
